So, if you are the computer geek and enthusiastic about Microsoft Technologies. Then, here is the right opportunity for you to show case your talent and your leadership qualities. If you have all the above qualities and you are willing to work with the Microsoft the you can apply for Microsoft Student Associates. It's the great opportunity to work with Microsoft and learn few new things and gain good experience.
Being a tech enthusiast, I have got many things from Microsoft. The company has the highest OS (Operating System) selling market and that makes Microsoft very unique. The company has about 90%-95% of the OS Market. This figure show how people are crazy about its products and I'm proud to say that I am one of them :) .
The Products like tablet PC's, Microsoft Surface, X-Box One, One Drive (Sky Drive), Skype, Developers tools. The Interface and GUI Nokia Lumia is providing is high class. No one can beat it.
If we talk about particularly OS then from basic staring MS-DOS to Windows 8.1 all the OS has/had attracted the users. Windows Picture Password in Windows 8 is also really cool and one of the new and unique feature it has.
Microsoft is also taking care of students not just MSA and MSP but it also has programs like Microsoft Virtual Academy which provides a great way to learn new MS Technologies online for free. The Course teaches us how to create Microsoft apps, MS-Office and many more.
Though MS-Paint is very simple and used by many of us and most of people might think it isn't be this much useful. But, as being a Blogger I used to edit to many images and that to in few seconds. Windows Movie Maker another cool feature of Microsoft which provides a very cool featues and ways to create Movies. The good thing about MS products are that they are very user friendly and that makes it Unique from other company's products. They basically keep there end users in mind while creating products. Windows Media Player the another cool Music playing app used by most of us.

I was introduced to the wonderful and marvelous machine called computer when I was in 1st
standard at my school. My school had regular computer class right form
the first standard including laboratory sessions. I remember we were not
allowed to touch the computers at the beginning and were taken to the
lab just for watching ‘Tom and Jerry’ series in the PCs. When we got the
permission to touch the computers and for the first time I switched it
on the first thing that caught my site was the colourful Windows 98 Logo. It was like “love at first sight”
for me with the computers and with the software (because at that age
the only thing I knew was ‘what is hardware?’ and ‘what is software?’
and had no idea about OS). As I grew up I started feeling a bit like ‘Alice’, as if “I am tumbling into the rabbit hole”.
And Microsoft not only showed me the path through that ‘rabbit hole’
but also made it exciting yet easy. It was MS-Paint which discovered the
young artist in me. Without me knowing, Microsoft was running in the
background helping me bring out my artistic skills, startling me with
the possibilities of computer and computing and igniting the love for
technology that has grown into my life’s passion. Microsoft Windows LOGO, discovered the first programmer in me and GW Basic
developed my early programming skills before being exposed to C and
C++. For a long time in my childhood I used to believe that Windows is
the only OS in the world till I was exposed to the internet. The reason
behind this is the ultimate comfort of using Windows.
Without any prior training, I was able to use the OS for my routine
tasks like, editing documents, browsing the web, listening to music or
playing games or using Paint. The tools like MS Office, Windows Media Player, and Internet Explorer
was there to serve me. My school annual functions were made more
eye-catching with the beautiful presentations that I designed in Microsoft Power Point. Presently I do almost 95 % of my daily small scale photo editing with MS-Paint and Microsoft Power Point
beside of making presentations. Although Power Point From the very
beginning when my father bought me a desktop computer I had a habit to
keep my computer updated. Whenever Microsoft released the new version of
the OS I somehow manage to get a copy within a week and install it. It
is so enjoyable to explore new interfaces, UIs and tools that Microsoft
brings with each version in more and more user friendly way.
The more important way I have been impacted by Microsoft is as a developer. Coding has always been my passion. The whole Microsoft developer’s framework
has been a boon to me. It is powerful, and the times when the use of
those tools would diminish, Microsoft comes out with much better ones. I
remember my early days of developing GUI based software with Visual Basics, or one of the first HTML editor, the MS Front Page for creating and administrating websites. Then, the Microsoft SQL server database
was provided for data applications. Also, at times when I was using
trivial IDEs for programming, my scope was restricted due to very
limited capabilities and that lead to unproductive work. That was when Visual Studio
became my savior, to create and maintain projects and work in a more
efficient manner. Then came the time when Microsoft released their own
Framework, .NET. Although it was made to attract java developers but the ease of use with .Net Framework is something which you can only feel.
In this era of smartphones, when the whole PC is coming to our pocket, Microsoft gave us the out of the box Windows Phones
with beautiful UI and tons of apps giving neck to neck fight with
Android and Apple. Microsoft has also made us a more social creature by
providing us the fantastic Skype. It is the finest web calling and chatting service I have ever seen.
HOW MICROSOFT HAS IMPACTED MY LIFE
Now ,why be an MSA?
I grew up with Microsoft’s technologies and given a chance, I would
love to be a small part of this giant software community. Becoming an
MSA would be an opportunity for me to know the Microsoft community
better and gain more knowledge of their products and make people aware
of them through seminars, webinars, meet up’s, thereby drive outreach. I
love talking to people and share knowledge.
Becoming an MSA would give me the right platform to continue doing what I love.
I hope to contribute to the industry in all possible ways from my end and widen my horizon in the process.
